जैसा की आप सभी जानते हिन् हैं की पिछले दिनों भरी वर्षा के कारन आँध्रप्रदेश, कर्नाटक एवं महाराष्ट्र में बाढ़ की स्तिथि उत्पन हो गयी है . हम सभी भारत वासियों का कर्त्तव्य बनता है की इस संकट की घडी में हम अपने भाई-बहनों की मदद करें ...

This is an URGENT APPEAL to join GOONJ in its campaign ‘RAHAT FLOODS’ to provide support to the victims of one of the worst floods in the last hundred years. The situation is grim and millions of people are affected by the devastation.

GOONJ has been working extensively in disaster relief for many years now. During the devastating Bihar floods last year, with large-scale civic participation, GOONJ channelised about 1500 tonnes of material. More recently, in Cyclone Aila in West Bengal, we were again actively involved in relief operations.

With a wide network of organizations and people present in most of the affected districts we are confident of reaching relief at the earliest possible. While the dispatch of material has already started the need based relief efforts will continue for the next few months.

As you are aware of recent floods in Andra pradesh,karnataka and border districts of Maharashtra. Doctors for you is sending team of Doctors and relief material to start Flood relief work there as soon as possible.

Requirements are

Medical and paramedical volunteers minimum for 1 week.

एक छोटा सा समाचार और भी इसके साथ आपलोगों को बताना चाहूँगा की बलजीत(हॉकी खिलाडी) अब भारत आ गए हैं और उनके आँखों में रौशनी वापस आ गयी है ....फिर भी अभी पूरी रौशनी आने में समय लगेगा ऐसा डॉक्टरों का कहना है . भगवान करे की उनकी आँखों की रौशनी पूरी वापस आ जाए और वो फिर से एक बार भारतीय टीम के लिए खेल पायें ....

आपलोगों को ये जानकर ख़ुशी होगी की कल हिन् सभी बाढ़-पीडितों के बीच सर्कार के तरफ से २२५० रूपये ka वितरण सर्कार की तरफ से किया गया , अनाज ka वितरण भी लालगंज और भरतपुर में जल्द हिन् करने ka वादा किया गया है . हमलोगों ने जो फ़ोन करने की मुहीम चलायी उसका भी असर हुआ आगे भी मैं अपील करूँगा सभी लोगों से ऐसे हिन् फ़ोन करके पूछ-ताछ करते रहें.
इस बीच में महेंद्र शर्मा जी के क्रिया-कर्म के लिए कुछ पैसे हमलोगों ने उन्हें बिझ्वा दिया था . और अभी जो थोडी बहुत सहायता राशि मेरे पास जमा हुई है उसे भी उनको हिन् देने ka मेरा विचार है अगर आपलोगों को कोई इतराज नहीं हो तो.

हाँ सर्कार के तरफ से महेंद्र जी की पत्नी पर उनका बयानं बदलने के लिए दवाब डाला जा रहा है, और महेंद्र जी की पत्नी ने कोई भी सरकारी सहायता राशी लेने से इंकार कर दिया है और वो इस घटना की पूरी जाच और मुआवजा की मांग कर रही है इस में हम सभी लोग को उनका साथ देना चाहिए ....

शाश्वत जी की तरफ से १,००१ रूपये की सहायता राशी आयी , इसके लिए मैं उनका आभारी हूँ ...

बाढ़-पीड़ित की जान ली भूख ने

जैसा मैंने अपने पहले पोस्ट में भी लिखा था की बिहार में बाढ़-पीडितों की व्यथा कम नही हुई है . पढिये सुपौल से हमारे एक मित्र की रिपोर्ट:

सुपौल में भूख ने ली महेंद्र की जान

गरीबी के कारण दाह संस्कार नहीं हो सका, परिजनों ने शव दफनाया
भीख मांगकर किसी तरह जिंदा हैं महेंद्र की पत्नी और चार बच्चे

छातापुर (सुपौल)। बिहार के बाढ़ग्रस्त इलाकों में पीड़ितों की हालत
दिन-ब-दिन बदतर होती जा रही है। छातापुर प्रखंड अंतर्गत लालगंज पंचायत के
भरतपुर गांव में दो जनवरी को 50 वर्षीय महेंद्र शर्मा की भूख से मौत होने
की खबर मिली है। इतना ही नहीं, मौत के बाद भी गरीबी ने उसका पीछा नहीं
छोड़ा। हिन्दू होने के बावजूद उसके दाह-संस्कार के लिए परिजनों के पास
लकड़ी खरीदने के पैसे नहीं थे। इस वजह से महेंद्र के शव को बगैर जलाए
गड्ढा खोदकर दफन कर दिया गया। उसकी पत्नी रनिया देवी चार बच्चों के साथ
भीख मांगकर अब तक जिंदा है।
हालांकि बिहार सरकार ने बाढ़पीड़ितों के लिए पहली किश्त का मुआवजा (2250
रुपए और एक क्विंटल अनाज प्रति परिवार) जारी किया था लेकिन एपीएल और
बीपीएल के चक्कर में चार महीने बाद भी यह राशि गरीबों तक नहीं पहुंच सकी
है। लालगंज पंचायत की इस घटना ने तब मानवीय संवेदना को झकझोर कर रख दिया
जब राहत से वंचित भीख मांग कर दिन काट रहे महेन्द्र शर्मा को जलाने के
लिए लकड़ी तक नसीब नहीं हो सकी और मजबूरन उसके शव को परिवार वालों ने
मिट्टी में दफन कर दिया। दिवंगत की विधवा रनिया देवी बताती है कि 20
अगस्त को आयी प्रलंयकारी बाढ़ के बाद वे लोग सरकारी शिविर में रह रहे थे
लेकिन शिविर बंद होने के बाद उन्हें अपना गांव लौटना पड़ा। बाढ़ में उनकी
झोपड़ी बह गई थी जिसे किसी तरह रहने लायक बनाया और भीख मांगकर गुजारा करने
लगे। रनिया देवी बताती हैं कि चार-चार शाम के फाके के बाद भूख ने
महेन्द्र शर्मा को बीमार बना दिया और दिसम्बर के अंतिम सप्ताह में
उन्होंने बिस्तर पकड़ ली थी। बिलखते हुए वह कहती हैं कि खाने के लिए तो एक
दाना अनाज नहीं है इलाज कैसे कराते। अब तो लोग भीख भी नहीं देते हैं।
पहले बाहर से कुछ लोग खाने का सामान बांटने आते थे लेकिन अब कोई नहीं
आता। इस संबंध में मुखिया प्रमिला देवी ने बताया कि महेंद्र शर्मा के
परिवार का नाम एपीएल और बीपीएल सूची में नहीं है जिस कारण इस परिवार को
अब तक कोई सरकारी राहत नहीं मिल सकी है। उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसे 500
परिवारों की सूची बनाकर प्रखंड कार्यालय को दे दी गई है लेकिन सरकार की
तरफ से अब तक मुआवजा या किसी तरह की राहत सामग्री ऐस परिवारों को नहीं दी
सकी है। इस संबंध में प्रभारी बीडीओ अनभिज्ञता प्रकट कर रहे हैं।

बिहार में लोकल मीडिया ने इस ख़बर को प्रकाशित करने से इंकार कर दिया, सरकारी दवाब के आगे मीडिया झुकी है...
ये दशा केवल एक परिवार की नहीं है बल्कि भूखे रहनेवाले ऐसे ९०० परिवार हैं, छातापुर प्रखंड के भरतपुर और लालगंज गाँव में आज तक सरकारी सहायता का कोई भी दर्शन नही हुआ है. और यहाँ की मुखिया श्रीमती प्रमिला देवी (ON THE PAPER) भी इसमें अपनी कोई खास रूचि नहीं दिखा रही हैं. यहाँ तक की उन्होंने आज तक भरतपुर गाँव(जहाँ की महेंद्र शर्मा की मौत हुई) का दौरा भी नहीं किया है, भाई करें भी तो क्यों करें...उनके परिवार का कोई भूखा तो नहीं मर रहा है .....

तो मेरे इस पोस्ट भी उन बाढ़-पीडितों को कोई भला होगा नहीं होगा मुझे पता है, पर कम से कम आपको सचाई तो पता चली . मेरे पास एक और योजना है : हम सभी मिलकर सरकारी तंत्र पर इस मामले में दवाब बढाते हैं . इसका आसन रास्ता है वो मैं आपलोगों कल बताता हूँ ....तब तक आपलोग सोचिये की हम किस दुनिया में जी रहे हैं जहाँ एक तरफ़ Macdonalds और ऐसे कई अमेरिकी रेस्तरां में हजारों रूपये पानी की तरह बहते हैं वहीँ कोई दूसरी तरफ़ भूख से मर जाता है . हम सब मिलकर सरकार को दोष दे कर शांत हो जाते है ...हो गया हमारा काम ख़त्म अपनी जिंदगी तो मजे में चल रही हैं ना दुनिया जाए भाड़ में .....

बाढ़ की विभीषिका अभी खत्म नहीं हुई है , ये अलग बात है की हमारे समाचार पत्रों और मीडिया से बिहार के बाढ़ के बारे में रिपोर्ट आना बंद हो गया....पर स्तिथि अब भी उतनी हिन् कारुणिक है , जैसे-जैसे ठंढ बढ़ रही है स्तिथि और खराब हो रही है, कैसे सामना करेंगे ये गरीब जिनके तन पर कोई वस्त्र नहीं है वो इस भीषण ठंढ ka. और इस बात को ध्यान में रखते हुए हम लोगों ने कम्बल बाटने के काम को पिछले १ महीने से सर्वोच प्राथमिकता दी है . पिछले १ महीने में तकरीबन १ हजार कम्बल ka वितरण किया गया है, हम लोगों ने ये पक्का किया है की एक-एक कम्बल जरुरत मंद को सीधा मिले. और इस काम को सार्थक बनाने में जुड़े हैं श्रीकांत भैया और चन्दन जी . इन दोनों व्यक्तियों ने पिछले ३ महीने से अपना सर्वस्व बिहार बाढ़ रहत कार्य में हिन् लगा दिया है . इनकी जितनी भी तारीफ़ की जाए काम होगी....
पर हमलोगों ka ये प्रयास सागर में एक बूँद के सामान होगा ...और लोगों को आगे आने की जरुरत है ....
